Gila Fein
Gila Fein, Fein Counseling

I earned my Masters Degree in Family Systems Counseling from The Leadership Institute of Seattle at Bastyr University. My life experiences as a parent, business professional, partner in a long-term marriage, ex-wife, and active community member influence my therapeutic practice.

Other interests include meditation, spirituality and religion, writing and journaling, and the mind/body connection. I have a love of the outdoors and enjoy time out and about in the northwest with family and friends.

In The Community

I am an active member of the Seattle Counselor's Association, currently serving on their board as Past President. My affiliation with SCA keeps me connected with the local counseling community and up to date on resources and trends in the field of counseling.

As a child therapist at Jumping Mouse Children's Center in Port Townsend, I volunteer as an extern one day a week. Through my work at Jumping Mouse, I am expanding my knowledge of play therapy and family work and delighting in the amazing children I get the privilege to work with.

Through the Muscular Dystrophy Association, I co-facilitate a support group for patients with ALS (commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease) and their caregivers on the first Saturday of the month in the Capitol Hill area.
