Gila Fein
I returned to school in my 40's to earn a Masters Degree in Family Systems Counseling from Bastyr University. My life experiences as a parent, business professional, partner in a long-term marriage, ex-wife, and active community member influence my therapeutic practice.
Other interests include meditation, spirituality and religion, writing and journaling, and the mind/body connection. I also have a love of the outdoors and enjoy time out and about in the northwest with family and friends.

In The Community
I am an active member of the Seattle Counselor's Association,
currently serving on their board as President. My affiliation with
SCA keeps me connected with the local counseling community and up
to date on resources and trends in the field of counseling.
As a Hospice volunteer I enjoy the deep satisfaction of supporting
patients and their families.
Through the Muscular Dystrophy Association, I co-facilitate a free
support group for patients with ALS (commonly known as Lou Gehrig's
disease) and their caregivers on the first Saturday of the month in the
Capitol Hill area.
