About
I earned my Masters Degree in Family Systems Counseling from The Leadership Institute of Seattle at Bastyr University, and my undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. My life experiences as a parent, business professional, partner in a long-term marriage, ex-wife, and active community member influence my therapeutic practice.
I have a love of the outdoors and enjoy time out and about in the northwest with family and friends. In The Community
I am a member of The Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study (The Alliance) where I served as mentor to clinicians in their first 10 years of clinical practice through their Mentoring Group Program . I am also a past president of the Seattle Counselor’s Association (SCA).
Along with my private practice experience, I have clinical experience as a child therapist and supervisor at Jumping Mouse Children’s Center . I enjoyed the opportunity to work with children and parents in a non-profit setting where my responsibilities included the supervision of clinicians, teaching parenting workshops and individual play therapy with children. I now work full time in private practice but bring to my work the rich learning gained at Jumping Mouse Children’s Center. I also provide consulting to clinicians in my private practice. |
